Inspiring young Londoners through sport since 1977. The London Youth Games Foundation was created in 1977 after being inspired from the Queen’s Jubilee to provide high quality sporting competitions for young Londoners and since then over one million young people have competed in the Games. They have also had the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of some of Great Britain’s greatest athletes including Mo Farah, Bradley Wiggins, Dina Asher-Smith and Rio Ferdinand.  At London Youth Games we believe that all young Londoners across every London borough should have the opportunity to play sport. We do this by ensuring that we deliver high quality events and competitions, by providing a clear pathway for our competitors and by training and deploying highly motivated and enthusiastic volunteers through our GamesForce programme.
