In late September the APS year 8 girls came a well deserved second in a tag rugby competition. With only one loss and two ties we just missed out on finishing in first place. The competition was tough but all of the girls worked really well as team and showed the APS values of hard work and resilience. Considering we had only been training together for around 3 weeks this achievement just goes to show
what spirit and team work can achieve – especially when facing bigger teams. When things got difficult we pulled together and showed our strength. The amazing thing about tag rugby is that you work as a team and everybody has a unique role to play.
