Y7 V Gladesmore Monday 4th November

Due to a last minute mix up with teams, Y7 APS had to take on a strong Y8 Gladesmore team.  This was the girls first ever Netball match as APS so it was a huge challenge. The team were down 5-2 at half time, however, after a few team changes and encouragement, the team found there grove and where able to find the net.  Some excellent play from Maddie & Josie ensured that APS won this match 7-6. Well done to all who took part.

APS v Fortismere Monday 11th November

Fortismere were playing away for this match.  APS knew it would be a difficult challenge as Fortismere are current netball champions.  APS girls stepped up strong and showed some solid defending from Lily and Rocca.  Eloise and Josie also worked well together to make the game as difficult as possible for the Fortismere girls. Unfortunately APS came out 9-2 on the bottom, but the score should have been much closer than what the score line suggested.

APS v Hornsey School for Girls Wednesday 20th November

Coming off the back of a defeat, APS were looking to bounce back strong and prove our winning ways.  Right from the start, some lovely play and movement was seen by all of the team, which really started to finally gel together as a team.  Solid shooting from Maddie ensured that APS came on top this time with a 6-0 win.  Super win- onwards and upwards!

APS v Parkview Tuesday 26th November

APS travelled away for their first away fixture of the season against Parkview.  As we only could take 7 players, APS had no substitutes.  Parkview started off strong, with their GA being a big threat to APS.  Thankfully Eloise and Lily were calm and collected and able to keep the ball out of the area.  Lovely footwork and movement from Josie and Maddie once again ensured that APS went away winning ways- winning 19-2.  Credit to Rosa who went down injured with her ankle, but battled on playing to ensure APS were not reduced in numbers.  Congratulations all.
